A long awaited basement update...
Jim just finished the stone on the fireplace and it looks awesome! It was a very time consuming process because you have to piece everything together and make a lot of cuts. Now Jim can add masonry to his long list of skills.

We laid out everything before getting started
Finished product! We still need to clean some of the joints to get rid of some of the morter that stands out but otherwise we are ready to enjoy our fireplace this winter.
The kitchen and bathroom are also essentially done. Here are some bathroom pics, including the tile around the shower. 
Kitchen pics will come later when I clean all of the junk off of our new granite countertops :)
