A "Step" in the Right Direction

Our stairs are finished! We are one step closer to moving into the basement, and we cannot wait! Jim had a big project on his hands but as always, he did a fabulous job! And I was able to brush up on my staining and sealing abilities :)

All done! We finally have a stair on this side (into the living room). It was a big step down because we took out the wall here.

Garrett's First Haircut

Last Friday, our big boy Garrett got his first haircut! It was long over his ears and curly in the back so it was time for a little trim. We went to dinner first, then headed to Sports Clips in Blacksburg. They were great with him and he was a champ! He just sat and took it all in until right in the middle of the haircut, he pointed and yelled "ball!" when he spotted one of the basketballs they have for decor. So cute! Our little guy is growing up (tear) :(
