Fun Times

Since I've been fairly neglectful when it comes to blog, I thought I'd do a quick catch-up post of some things that the boys have been into lately.

This past Friday, we play with Cool Whip. Walker doesn't like to get his hands dirty, so he quick abandoned his mess to go climb on the deck. Garrett liked it, but enjoyed eating it as much as playing in it.

A couple of weeks ago, the boys and I went to Roanoke to shop and meet up with some of my former SunTrust co-workers for lunch. We were gone nearly all day, and they were really good. Gold star, boys! While at Valley View Mall, they got to ride the little train carousel and play in the fun play zone where they climbed and crawled through the tunnel. They also took an 1.5 hour nap in their stroller while I shopped. It was great :) Around the house, they are finding all sorts of new stuff to entertain themselves.

Walker likes to "help" with the dishes

Sad that the stairs have finally been gated off

Babies in a box

Still loving their swings
G likes to sit in his racetrack, which is probably why it no longer spins!

Being silly in the ball pit/pack & play

With Mommy's help, Walker will "push" Garrett in their police car all the way down to the mailbox and back. Those of you who know how steep our driveway is realize what a feat this is!

Walker likes to climb on top of his new block table

We have also recently been to the playground, had fun playtimes with some of our baby buddies, and visited the library for storytime. None of which I have pics of. Oops!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Belated Father's Day to the men in our lives! Jim is such a wonderful dad and great hubby, we are so lucky to have him! We enjoyed a great Father's Day together, with lunch at Sal's, a visit to the duck pond at VT, family nap time, and a walk. It was perfect! Here are a few pics from our duck pond visit. The boys loved it!

Relay for Life

For the past few years, I have participated in the Montgomery County Relay for Life with Blacksburg Jr. Women's Club. It's a great way to honor our favorite cancer surviver and reflect on how blessed we are that Jim has been cancer free for over 7 years now. It was so nice to share this event with the boys so they can see how brave their daddy is!

One year old!

On the boys' 1st birthday, we had another photo session to capture this wonderful time. Kristina Rose did a wonderful job, as always! She really got some great shots that capture their personality. Here are my favorites (yes, there are a lot...but I didn't post all 100!).
