Four Weeks Old!

On Thursday, the boys turned 4 weeks old! I can't believe it's already been that long since they joined our family. We are enjoying every day with them and love seeing the new little things that they do each day. Here's a little glimpse of some of the things we've been up to lately.

We went to the lactation office at the hospital on Tuesday to have the boys weighed to make sure they were gaining enough weight. Garrett had gained 8 oz in nearly 2 weeks and was up to 6 lbs 10.5 oz. Walker had only gained 3 oz to 6 lbs 7 oz. This was a little less than what they like to see, so she recommended that we start regular supplementing with formula. So far, they have done really well, especially Walker. We will go back next week for another weigh in to see how they have progressed. Here is Daddy feeding the boys their bottles. Look how tiny they look relative to Daddy!

We decided to take a new route on our walk on Thursday evening. The route ended up being about 2.5 miles, so it was a lot longer than we usually walk. Needless to say, Lexie was tired about half way through so we let her ride in the bottom of the stroller. She liked it there!
