Happy Grandparent's Day!
Sunday is Grandparent's Day! Although we won't get to see any of the grandparents tomorrow, we are thinking of all of you and love you very much! Thanks for everything that you do for our family.

Jim's new ride (and job!)
Jim got a new job! He starts with Patterson Dental on Monday. He will be a sales rep for their CEREC machine, which is equipment that uses CAD technology to allow dentists to create crowns and other ceramic restorations in office. He will cover the western part of Virginia and is very excited to start this new adventure! We are so proud of him :)
Since the Caravan (aka "Daddy Mobile") belongs to Abbott, we had to buy a new vehicle this week. Jim's vehicle of choice is a 2011 Subaru Outback, a model that he has admired since his days at Shelor when he won the dealership's walk-around competition with a presentation on the Outback. Here is a pic of our family's new ride.

Little Hokies
Despite the rough season that Virginia Tech has had so far, Garrett and Walker are still fans. We keep telling them that VT usually has a great football team, even though they haven't yet won a game during their lifetime :) Here are some pics of the boys in their Hokie gear for the past two games.
Sorry, couldn't get it to rotate again!! Ugh!
Sweet Times
I just love that these little boys are going to grow up as best friends! It's so amazing that they have really started to notice each other over the past few weeks. It's evident in their eyes and in their smiles that they recognize their brother and it just melts my heart! Here are a few pics of the boys together.

Family Visits
Last weeekend, we ventured home to visit family not just once but twice! On Saturday, we all went to visit Jim's family. We had a fun visit, although we missed seeing Amelia, Blair, and Judy. We will catch you all next time! Oh, and I swear Garrett was there too, but he was sleeping in mommy's arms when I took all of these pics...

Then on Monday, I took the boys to visit my family while Jim stayed home to work in the basement. We had a great time and got to visit with lots of people!

Reflecting
So, today marks the one year anniversary since we went to Charlotte to have our two tiny 5 day old embryos transferred to grow in mommy's belly. I can't believe what an incredible year it has been! I continuously marvel at the miracle of life that has been created, not just once, but twice! We have been more blessed than I would have ever imagined and we are so grateful to God for the two sweet joys in our lives. How miraculous that the two tiny embryos shown below grew from about 100 cells each into two perfect baby boys?
I am thankful for our doctors and nurses who were able to use today's technology to help us get our babies, to our family and friends for all of their support through everything, and most of all, to God for all of the blessings in our lives. Garrett and Walker--Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know!!
